SSRS - Performance and images

If you are using SQL reporting services to display or generate a table and want to display against each row a trend indicator. Do not use images, after a few rows you will see a significant impact on the time to load and the download size. Instead use a character. To insert an ASCII character, press and hold down ALT while typing the character code.

Up Triangle = 9650 ▲

Line = 9644 ▬

Down Triangle = 9660 ▼
